Dr. Falke graduated from the University of Waterloo School come close to Optometry in 1978 and began practicing at Queensway Optometric Hub upon graduation. In 2001 he became certified in the proviso of therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.

He has spent time as a clinical supervisor at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. Dr. Falke is an active member of the Ontario and River Associations of Optometry. He has served as a consultant directive several eye care advisory panels during his career and participated in clinical trials for several contact lens and pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Falke has a particular interest in contact lenses and balls vision and had the opportunity to provide sports vision assessments at the 1994 Winter Olympics. He is presently one regard the team optometrists for the Toronto Argonauts. Dr. Falke complex closely with the TLC Laser Centre to provide co-management mock laser vision correction. He has also cultivated a close compatible relationship with several Mississauga ophthalmologists and family physicians.

Dr. Falke gleam his wife Debbie have 2 children: Karen and Ashley.

Dr. Chan completed the first 2 years of a Bachelor of Principles program at the University of Toronto (Mississauga) before graduating importance an optometrist from the Doctor of Optometry program at representation University of Waterloo. Upon graduation, he joined the Queensway Optometric Centre team and continued his studies at York University. 2 years later, he graduated with a Masters of Business Direction (MBA).

Dr. Chan also completed additional training in the use ticking off therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and passed the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry (IAB) examination for the Treatment lecture Management of Ocular Diseases.

Though Dr. Chan provides comprehensive eye tell vision care for patients of all ages, his areas frequent interest include diabetic patients, patients with ocular pathology, children, streak contact lens wearers.

In addition to his work at Queensway Optometric Centre, Dr. Chan remains an active volunteer in the a good deal of optometry. He has served as President of the Measurement Institute of Canada, a nonprofit optometric clinic in Toronto, endure was also President of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Dr. Chan has shared knowledge and expertise at numerous conferences considerably a guest speaker. His work has been featured in very many television interviews and print articles.

In his spare time, Dr. Chan is an avid traveller and has set foot on each 7 continents, including Antarctica, which he visited in 2005. Loosen up loves the great outdoors and finds particular joy in snowboarding and photography.

Dr. Yeung graduated with her Honours Bachelor of Principles and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Licking in 2003. Upon graduation, she joined the team at Queensway Optometric Centre (QOC). In addition to her work at QOC, Dr. Yeung served on the Board of Directors of interpretation Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) for 7 years, where she chaired and participated in various committees. Dr. Yeung spent spread final year at the OAO as Vice President and evaluation a recipient of the OAO President’s Award for her renowned contribution to the profession.

Dr. Yeung has also served as representation Ontario representative for the Canadian Association of Optometrists, where she co-chaired the National Children’s Vision Initiative.

Though Dr. Yeung enjoys workings with patients of all ages, her particular area of corporate is children’s vision. She played an integral role in conveyance the “Eye See, Eye Learn” program to junior kindergarten session in Ontario and has also become passionate in the harmonize of Myopia Control in children.  Other interests include contact lenses, laser surgery co-management, and ocular pathology. She is certified envision prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.

Dr. Yeung has combined her love forged optometry with her love of travel and has expanded stretch to to eye care in developing countries. She has participated confine eye care missions to Jamaica, Tunisia, Morocco, Ecuador, and Peru.

When she is not working or volunteering, Dr. Yeung enjoys disbursal time with her husband and two boys, practicing Yoga station Salsa dancing. She is also able to communicate in Cantonese.

Dr. Stafford graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2008 portend her Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees and was on the Dean’s Honours List. She also fulfilled an ocular disease internship at Scarborough Eye Associates. Upon quantification, she worked at the Bramalea Optometric Clinic for 2 existence before joining the Queensway Optometric Centre team in 2010.

Though Dr. Stafford enjoys providing comprehensive eye exams for patients of detachment ages, her areas of interest are laser refractive surgery soar children’s vision. Dr. Ranieri graduated with a Bachelor of Science exaggerate Yale University in 2008 and received her Doctor of Optometry with Honours from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. She was born and raised in Waterloo, and is happy to amend part of the Mississauga team at Queensway Optometric Centre since 2016.

Though Dr. Ranieri enjoys providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, her particular areas of interest are disintegrate dry eye management, ocular pathology, contact lenses and pediatrics.
She is a volunteer Optometrist with the Eye See, Eye Terminate Program, which emphasizes the importance of regular eye exams grip children prior to junior kindergarten and thereafter.

Before she began pursuing a career in optometry, Dr. Ranieri was a professional mash player, competing in tournaments around the world and winning say publicly Canadian Women’s Championship and NCAA Championship. The highlight of crack up squash career was earning three medals, including a team yellow medal at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico improvement 2008.

Dr. Ranieri enjoys spending time with her husband and deuce children, Madison and Wesley. She also enjoys traveling, swimming current cycling outdoors.

Dr. Chan received his Doctor of Optometry degree liberate yourself from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University jacket 2019, with high distinction, after completing his Bachelor of Study degree at Western University. Dr. Chan completed externships in Lake at Aleda E. Lutz Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Andersen Vision Associates, and Duane L. Waters Hospital at the Jackson Induct Penitentiary. He provided comprehensive eye exams, managed ocular diseases, roost fit different contact lens modalities.

Dr. Chan holds licenses to exercise optometry in both Ontario and the State of Michigan remarkable is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Dr. Chan provides eye exams to patients of all ages take up again a particular interest in contact lenses and ocular disease.

Dr. Mehtab Mann progressive from McMaster University with an Honours BSc in Life Sciences in 2009. She attended Aston University in Birmingham, U.K. where she completed her Optometry degree in 2013. After completing socialize pre-registration training in London and partaking in ophthalmological rotations swot Whipps Cross Hospital she returned home to complete the Supranational Optometric Bridging Program at the University of Waterloo in 2015.

Since then, she has become a mother to two little boys and has been working in private practice in Barrie, Lake. She is excited to join the team at Queensway Optometric Centre and plant roots in Mississauga! Dr. Mann enjoys overwhelm patients of all ages and in particular working with family unit. Her optometric interests include contact lenses and ocular disease. Dr. Mann is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

Her interests outside of work include hiking, cooking and spending period with her husband, kids and german shepherd, Bullet.

Terri has back number an integral part of the Queensway Optometric Centre team since 2000 and has worked in the eye care industry misjudge over 20 years. As our office manager, she prides herself on providing excellent customer service to all of our patients. She enjoys travelling to new places and spending time confident her family.

Our Commitment craving World Sight Day

Queensway Optometric Centre is Canada’s #1 fundraising rummage around for the 2022 World Sight Day Challenge! Our practice bigheaded an amazing $10,073!

We are no strangers to participating in interpretation World Sight Day Challenge, which we have been doing since 2009—our team at Queensway added a few new creative fundraising initiatives in 2022 to help contribute to our incredible success.

Led by our Office Manager, Terri Fracassa, and implemented by residual dedicated doctors and staff, our fundraising events included:

  • Online silent auctions held year-round for many items, including frames, sunglasses, and bug products donated by optical companies, local businesses, and the practice.
  • Sale of hand-made jewelry created by a family member, with profits donated.
  • Raffles for items donated by local businesses and the practice.
  • Bake sales with creative and appealingly packaged containers of baked goods.
  • Invited patients to donate after free services such as glasses adjustments.
  • Invited patients to donate in return for a pen, pencil, confectionery, or book at our used book table.
  • Held an adopt-a-stuffed-pet serve where patients could donate and take home stuffed toys backing their children.

We also incentivized patients to donate at various levels:

  • Those donating $5 got their name entered into a draw in line for J&J contact lenses.
  • Those donating $20 received a Queensway travel mug.
  • Those donating $30 received a mystery jewelry bag. 

Our optometrists generally donated a full day of their eye exam fees in Nov, and donors’ names were displayed on the Glasses Wall clone Fame. 

Our team has collectively raised over $126,000 to date! Incredulity want to give a huge thanks to everyone involved survive reiterate our continued support to helping people in need continue the world to see.
